Dimana Zaharieva is an artist and illustrator born in Sofia, Bulgaria, currently based in New York, NY. She has received a BA degree in Fine Art with an emphasis on painting and printmaking at San Diego State University, 2021. The primary media of her work are painting, drawing, and digital.

Dimana’s work is inspired by surrealism and post-impressionism, with a focus on the human figure and portraiture. The themes she explores range from mental illness and her experience as a woman in the 21st century, to metaphysical notions such as multidimensionality and the concept of a multiverse. An otherworldly ambience reflecting a liminal, transitional quality is a common element in her pieces.
